On the road to Froj…
Here we finally get a look at one of the main characters (two if you notice the girl in the background in the bottom panel). After writing quite a bit of the story, I think we’ve realized that the hardest part of this story is definitely the beginning. It’s difficult to introduce your characters, especially if there are quite a few, in reasonable and interesting ways. After the characters are introduced and people start to recognize them, it becomes much easier to write for them.
Also, you should notice the obvious reference we’re making in the animals pulling these wagons. The official term we have for them is “Ostrahawk.” They aren’t the main method of transportation however, as horses are still pretty prevalent. They’re also pretty rare, so we won’t be seeing too much of them
